Tito (Arshad Warsi) and Tony (Rajpal Yadav) are two conmen who run into and fall in love with two sisters, Payal (Anita) and Gehna (Tusha). The girls have run away from their home and uncle, Vikramaditya (Govind Namdeo). Meanwhile, small-time don Jagat Dada (Govind Namdeo again) enlists the help of Tito-Tony to steal a treasure map from a police station. Tito-Tony accomplish the task but, instead of giving Jagat the real map, they hand him a fake copy forged by Mamu (Razak Khan), So, while Jagat and his men so in a futile search for the treasure, Tito-Tony go after the real one, which is in Vikramaditya's house. Soon, Jagat realizes that he has been conned, and also becomes aware that he looks like Vikramaditya. Since Vikramaditya is away from home, Jagat Dada goes into his house pretending to be Vikramaditya. The chase for the fortune begins in earnest and after the mandatory mix-ups; the police come and attest Jagat Dada and his men.

Firaaq is an Urdu word that means both separation and quest. The film is a work of fiction, based on a thousand stories.
The story is set over a 24-hour period, one month after a campaign that took place in Gujarat, India, in 2002. It traces the emotional journey of ordinary people- some who were victims, some perpetrators and some who choose to watch silently. As an ensemble film, it fo9llows multiple narratives that are at some times interconnected and at times discreet, yet all are united by their spatial and emotional context.
A middle class housewife closes the door on a woman desperately seeking refuge, and then struggles to overcome her guilt. The loyalty of two best friends is challenged in times rife with fear and suspicion. A group of victimized young men seek revenge as a way out of their helplessness and anger. A modern day Hindu-Muslim couple struggle between the survival instinct to hide their true identities and the desire to assert them. A boy having lost most of his family in the riots wanders through the streets searching for his missing father. A saintly musician clings on to his idealism until an evidence of civil strife shakes his faith.
Through these characters we trace the ways in which violence impacts both inner and outer lives. Violence spares nobody. Yet in the midst of this madness, some find it in their hearts to sing hopeful songs for better times.

Anand becomes so greedy that he decides to cheat on his own girl friend Neha Chattopadhayay (Soha Ali Khan) who is a small time theatre actress. Anand cast her as a main heroine in the film so her acting ka keeda will be over in one film.

Nandu (Bobby Deol) an orphan turned assassin somehow gets wrongly accused of a politician's murder and is on the run. On his escapade on a train he meets Shekhar (Pradeep), who is homebound after fourteen years, they get chatting and Nandu finds all about his joint family and the wedding of Shekhar's cousin that he is going to attend.
However the police catch up with Nandu on the train and shoot at him but Shekhar shields Nandu and dies on the spot. Nandu goes to Shekhar's family home in his village to return his grandfathers watch and also to break the news of his grandson's death to him. However it turns out that Shekhar's family mistakes Nandu for Shekhar and makes him a part of the celebration at home.
Preet (Shriya Saran), who is the daughter of Shekhar's grandfather's friend is in awe of Nandu and falls in love with him. CBI Inspector Rane (Nana Patekar), is given the responsibility of tracking down the killer and is after Nandu.
Will Nandu be able to come out of the crisis a winner? Will the family come to know about his truth? What would be the fate of Nandu and Preet's love story? Who was the real killer?

The story is told against the backdrop of the ancient walled city of Delhi who is a character in herself. A microcosm of India, the city represents the chaos of our land, its people, and their religion and their beliefs. The pin code of this old city is 110006. With pride and love the locals call it Delhi-6.

Jannat is a Bhatt production and its story surrounds sports betting and match fixing in cricket. It is Kunal Deshmukh's first film as a director. Apparently Kunal and Emraan have been studying real life bookie's to prepare for the role. Other actors in major roles includes 2005 Miss World Sonal Chauhan, Samir Kocchar and Javed Shaikh. Initially they wanted Esha Deol and then Kangna Renaut to do the lead female role but they couldn't due to tight schedule.
Music of Jannat is composed by Pritam. To Considering Pritam made pretty good music for the last three times he worked with the Bhatts (Gangster, Woh Lamhe and Awarapan).

Ray Acharya (Neil Nitin Mukesh), a struggling photographer has nothing going for him... until he inherits a very 'special' camera from his grandfather which changes his life in a way that he could not have imagined in his wildest dreams.
The 'power' of the camera changes Ray's destiny overnight. His life becomes one big roller coaster ride that takes him from rags to riches and also helps him meet the love of his life, Simi (Bipasha Basu) who is an exciting sexy DJ with a mind of her own. Everything is hunky dory and moving towards 'happily ever after'.

Shipra's Dictionary has a great image of popularity among Indians. The reason behind its popularity is its bilingual capability. Yes, its very well know English to Hindi dictionary. You can find the Hindi meaning of any commonly used word of English from its large database of more then 22600 English Words with Multiple Hindi meanings.

Despite its simple design and limited features It is a very successful player in its game. It is because free Offline English-Hindi Dictionaries on internet are very rare and it is one of them.
Searching a Hindi meaning of an English word is very easy even if you do not know the exact spelling because it has the capability of short listing the words as you type character by character in real time. So you can choose the right word from the short listed words.
Right pane of the Dictionary lists all the words available in its database, and you just required to click on the word to see its meaning in Hindi. This list may be very useful for many users.
But on the negative side if we compare it with English to English dictionaries the words database is very small, and so sometimes you will not find meaning of some useful words. Its another drawback is that it just gives simple Hindi meaning of words and not detailed description, Synonyms, Hypernym, Hyponym or Antonym etc.
It uses the MS Access based database. Due to which it shows some poor performance and also consume some extra MB of your Harddisk. But we can see it as a feature also because you can edit the MS Access based database to add new words.
It also does not have wildcard search capability.
In this war of features and drawbacks I will say that something is better then nothing.

Aloo chat is Directed by Robby Grewal and Produced by Anuj Saxena, A.P. Parigi & Garg S. Like all other films this week, this one too is interestingly titled. But Aloo Chaat’s content is not as palatable as the film’s mouth-watering name.

The story is admittedly inspired by Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge’s plot, except for the gender switcheroo. Nikhil (Aftab Shivdasani) is an America-returned Punjabi munda –the kind who, at his age, asks for his parents’ permission to take his fiancée about town. The lady he’s supposedly engaged to (Linda Arsenio: Kabul Express, Mumbai Salsa) is just a false front for his real love. Since his actual girlfriend’s name is Aamna (Aamna Shariff), Nikhil fears his family’s immediate rejection over her religion. So along with uncle Hakeem Tarachand (Manoj Pahwa), a sexologist who claims to cure “anything” within 15 days, Nikhil devised a sneaky plan. The film then has some interesting story turns, with the family’s idiot Chhadami (Sanjay Mishra) always suspecting something’s not as it seems.

Music is pretty much as ensemble effort here with as many as four composer coming together - RBD,Xulfi, Vipin Mishra & Mehfux.

The music for Raaz - The Mystery Continues (a.k.a Raaz 2) is released, here are the songs some of you have been wanting so much . As they keep claiming, The Mystery Continues is not a sequel to the 2002 film Raaz. It follows a completely different storyline. It is directed by Mohit Suri and stars Emraan Hashmi, Kangana Ranaut and Adhyayan Suman in lead roles. I don't think I need to say this, right?.... that it's a horror movie?

Music of the movie is directed by new comers Raju Singh, Pranay M Rijia, Toshi Sabri and Gaurav Das who replaced Pritam, who replaced Neem-Sharavan. ENJOY!

Jumbo, the animated children movie is directed by Kompin Kemgumnird. According to ScreenIndia.com, Jumbo is actually a 2006 Thai film called Khan Kluay (Wikipedia) and is already released on DVD in the US as The Blue Elephant. It doesn't really matter, but I don't see why they're trying so hard to hide that fact. There's no information on the creators of the film on any Bollywood website. Anyways, the main character is voiced Akshay Kumar. It's to be released on Christmas this year, on the same day as Ghajini.

Well, now let's talk about the music of Jumbo. Can you believe this, the movie may be for kids, but there is not a single kids' song in this movie! I'm not saying the music is bad, I like the song Everything Gonna Be Alright, but it's almost gangster rap! Come on, it's a an animated movie about a cute little elephant who goes searching for his mom. But why the hell are there rap songs in there? When I found out about Jumbo, I was so happy for all the kids but I'm very said right.

Slumdog Millionaire is the multi-Oscar winning film (8 Oscar, to be exact) directed by the British director Danny Boyle. But you already know that. How could you not! It's all over the news these days. However, I am ashamed to say I haven't watched it yet. The film is about Jamal Malik (Dev Patel) who grew up in the slums, becomes a contestant on "Kaun Banega Crorepati?". Other major roles in the film are played by Freida Pinto, Anil Kapoor, Irfan Khan, Madhur Mittal, Ayush Mahesh Khedekar and Azharuddin Mohammed Ismail.

The spectacular music of Slumdog Millionaire is composed by A. R. Rehman who won two Oscars (for best music and best song, Jai Ho). I don't need to tell you how good the music is. It's so obvious. Enjoy ;D

Billu Barber is directed by Priyadarshan and produced by Gauri Khan under the Red Chillies Entertainment banner. It tells the story of a barber Bilas Rao Pardesi (Irfan Khan) who lives in his village with his wife Bindiya (Lara Dutta) and two kids. When superstar Sahir Khan (Shah Rukh Khan) comes to their village to shoot a film, Billas/Billu tells people that he and Sahir are childhood friends for which he is ridiculed. The films also stars Om Puri, Rajpal Yadav and Asrani, as well as guest appearances by Kareena Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, and Priyanka Chopra in item numbers. Billu Barber was released on February 13, so check it if you haven't already.

Music of Billu is composed by Pritam. There's a nice song by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan that I like a lot (Jaaon Kaha). There are a couple of other good songs too. I hope you like them.
